Robert E. Younger III, MD with The Allergy Asthma Group

Robert E. Younger III, M.D., began practicing asthma,
immunology, and allergy in Chattanooga in 1985. He received his undergraduate degree in microbiology and immunology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

After completing a Pediatric residency, Dr. Younger began his specialty training and research in asthma, immunology, and allergy at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. He has published original research and review
articles about asthma management, immunologic mechanisms of allergic disease, and anaphylaxis (allergic emergencies). He is a member of the teaching faculty in the University of Tennessee      
Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Younger is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the
American Board of Pediatrics. He has represented his subspecialty as president
of the Tennessee Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (1991-1993).
