Northeast Georgia Food Allergy Support Group founders, Jennifer & Sandy were featured in Allergy & Asthma Today, back to school addition featuring an article about Back to School with Confidence, Now Parents, Schools can Prevent Bullying. The article covered how our support group goes into our school districts during Food Allergy Awareness Week and do the 'Be A Pal' Program and what a difference it has made in our school systems!

Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta founder Karen Harris, Jennifer Addington & Sandy Sosebee founders of Northeast GA Food Allergy Support Group represented our state on May 2nd, 2012 at the State Capitol when Governor Nathan Deal signed the proclamation for Food Allergy Week in GA (May 13-19th, 2012)! We got a private tour with the Speaker of the House. Pictured is Kristie Lindstrom, Director of House Communications, Karen Harris, Jennifer Addington & Sandy Sosebee & our children.

Sandy Sosebee & Jennifer Addington turns to our local paper, The News Observer, to speak about the importance of Food Allergies as well as to raise awareness for the upcoming Food Allergy Walk in Atlanta, Georgia. Our support group raised over $4,000! All proceeds went directly to the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN).
